Anchor charts are displays to help students with concepts.  They provide a record of the thinking the class has been doing on a topic.

In math, content anchor charts are often of strategies with visual connections.  They are also quite useful for problem solving or communication.

The most effective anchor charts are developed by (or at least with) the students and are a record of their thinking.  Please bear this in mind when looking at the samples provided for multiplication facts.
