Welcome to Teach Math

This site is being rebuilt after technical issues and will be updated and expanded over the next month.  If you’re looking for a file you know was here, just email me!  The sitemap may be your best bet at the moment as most menus need to be re-built.

I’d encourage you to check back soon, Fall 2015 many pages are being fixed daily.  Better yet,let me know what section you’re interested in and that’ll get fixed first.

This website will provide a variety of resources and ideas for teaching mathematics. In addition to a collection of grade level materials, I’m adding support for math processes.  A blog on our Program website  will contain recent stories from our schools and thoughts from our math team.

While much of the material will support work done with Avon Maitland DSB teachers, hopefully others can find items of interest.

The grade level content links will take you to a variety of information and resources.

  1. I’m out in DC, in my first year of an urban teaching program.

This website and its resources are doing so much to help me understand (and teach!) the conceptual foundations of middle school math. Thank you!

  2. Thank you a bunch for sharing this with all of us you actually understand what you’re speaking about!
Bookmarked. Kindly also discuss with my site
=). We could have a link alternate contract among us

  3. Appreciating the dedication you puut into your site and detailed information you offer.

It’s great to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same outdated rehashed material.

Excellent read! I’ve saved your site and I’m adding your RSS feeds to
    my Google account.

  4. I was more than happy to find this page. I want to to thank you
for ones time just for this fantastic read!! I definitely really
liked every part of it and I have you book marked to check out new things on your website.

  5. magnificent post, very informative. I’m wondering why
the opposite experts of this sector do not notice this.
You must proceed your writing. I’m sure, you’ve a great readers’
    base already!

All of you are so dumb and study nothing

  8. I teach students who have been identified as having learning differences and I am interested in the “Equal Addition Method of Subtraction, instead of Borrowing”. My students have a very difficult time with subtraction and I am always looking for ways to help them learn.

    Thank you

  9. Feel free to exercise choice without making adjustments that will make it tough to create an enduring relationship.
Some girls are attracted not only in a very guy’s appearance, and also
their attitude, confidence and humor. The way you walk, how you talk, sit, stand – each and things are all being watched through your date.

  10. This whole product is so effective that you have 100 million singles
in the U. It is very rare for a girl on an online dating site, to resort to the blocking feature.
The reason: relationship dating doesn’t have guarantee that
the bond will succeed and exactly what is completed
with in that relationship will echo, in a very big
or small way (positive or negative) from the all each others lives.

  11. What you wrote made a ton of sense. But, consider this, suppose you added a little content?
I mean, I don’t want to tell you how to run your website,
however suppose you added a post title that makes people desire more?
I mean Teach Math.ca – Resources for Teaching Mathematics is kinda plain. You
should look at Yahoo’s home page and note how
they create news titles to grab viewers to open the links.
You might add a related video or a picture or two to get people excited about everything’ve got to say.

In my opinion, it might bring your posts a little
    bit more interesting.
